Reception Facilities

Singaport Cleanseas owns and operate one of the world's largest MARPOL ANNEX I Receiption Facilities for the collection, treatment and disposal of oily slop, sludge and other hazardous waste streams at Pulau Sebarok.

With 2 to 3 ships arriving or departing for the Port of Singaproe every minute, the reception facility is essential to the maritime industry and the prevention of pollution of the sea. It allows the marine waste to be recycled and dispose off in an environmentally friendly manner as required under the International Maritime Organization's MARPOL 73/78 Convention.

Our Current Facilities include:

  • Oil Sludge Treatment plant with capacity of 10,000 tonnes per annum.
  • Slop treatment plant with a capacity to treat up to 400,000 cubic metres per annum. 5 tanks with a total of 35,000 cubic metres capacity.

    Size: 45,800 tonnes displacement
    Depth: 10.9 m
    Length: 264.0 m
