Sludge waste

Oily sludge waste is a Toxic Industrial Waste (TIW) that is detrimental to human health and the environment. It is best properly disposed of by a certified waste management company.

Singaport Cleanseas is a licensed Toxic Industrial Waste (Marpol Annex I) collector licensed by National Environmental Agency (NEA) and Maritime Port Authority (MPA) and is fully equipped to process oily sludge through environmentally-friendly ways and processes. Our oily sludge goes through an incineration process before being disposed of as inert ash. 

The exhaust gas produced go through an efficient and thorough treatment process to extract maximum pollutants before being analysed by our Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and released into the atmosphere. The final gas released is constantly monitored to ensure compliance with the emission standards stipulated by NEA.
