De-slopping is the process of removing oily water inside the tank that comes from tank washing. Tank washing water gets mixed with the oils in the tank and is considered hazardous and should be disposed of properly in accordance to the standard procedures at different ports.

Singaport Cleanseas is a licensed Toxic Industrial Waste (Marpol Annex I) collector for slop waste licensed by National Environmental Agency (NEA) and Maritime Port Authority (MPA). For more information, you can check out our Marine Slop Waste page or contact us.

We are able to assist in your vessel’s de-sludging needs. Singaport Cleanseas Oil Sludge Treatment Plant is able to treat up to 10,000 tonnes per annum, and we are currently looking into further expansion for an even higher treatment capacity and capability.

Singaport Cleanseas’ jetty allows vessels to berth alongside for discharging and loading of slop and sludge, thereby allowing for faster operations and lower downtime for us and our clients.

As part of our never ending commitment to improve our services, we have expanded our jetty to 180 metres in length, which allows more vessels to simultaneously to berth alongside each other. This has increased the cargo handling capacity of our reception facility to a significant extent.
